How to convert JFIF to PSD:

1. Click the "Choose Files" button to select multiple files from your local device, or click the "URL" button to choose an online file. Image file size can be up to 200MB. You can use the file analyzer to get the source image's detailed information such as image size, resolution, quality, and transparent color.

2. Set the target image format, image quality, and image size. You can use the original image size or select the "Change width and height" option and enter a custom image size in the format [width]x[height] (e.g., 1920x1080). The image quality setting applies only to specific formats such as JPG, WEBP, or AVIF. The value ranges from 1 (lowest image quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). If left blank, the converter will use the estimated quality of your source image if it can be determined, otherwise 92. The target image format can be JPG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, HEIC, BMP, PS, PSD, WEBP, TGA, DDS, AVIF, J2K, PNM, SVG, etc.

3. Click the "Convert Now!" button to start batch conversion. It will automatically retry conversion on another server if one fails; please be patient while converting. The output files will be listed in the "Conversion Results" section. Click the icon to show the file QR code or save the file to cloud storage services such as Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox.

JFIF vs PSD:
Name JFIF PSD
Full name JPEG File Interchange Format Adobe Photoshop Bitmap File
File extension .jfif .psd
MIME JPEG/JFIF image/x-photoshop
Developed by Joint Photographic Experts Group Adobe Systems
Type of format Lossy image format Raster Image format
Introduction The JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) is an image file format standard. It is a format for exchanging JPEG encoded files compliant with the JPEG Interchange Format (JIF) standard. It solves some of JIF's limitations in regard to simple JPEG encoded file interchange. As with all JIF compliant files, image data in JFIF files is compressed using the techniques in the JPEG standard, hence JFIF is sometimes referred to as "JPEG/JFIF". Photoshop files have default file extension as .PSD, which stands for "Photoshop Document." A PSD file stores an image with support for most imaging options available in Photoshop. These include layers with masks, transparency, text, alpha channels and spot colors, clipping paths, and duotone settings.
Technical details JFIF defines a number of details that are left unspecified by the JPEG Part 1 standard. For example: The JPEG standard does not include any method of coding the resolution or aspect ratio of an image. JFIF provides resolution or aspect ratio information using an application segment extension to JPEG. This is in contrast to many other file formats (e.g., .JPG or .GIF) that restrict content to provide streamlined, predictable functionality. A PSD file has a maximum height and width of 30,000 pixels, and a length limit of 2 Gigabytes.
