2. Set target image format, image quality and image size. You can use the original image size or select "Change width and height" option and enter customized image size. The format is [width]x[height], for example: 1920x1080. Image quality option only works on a few image formats such as JPG, WEBP or AVIF etc. The value ranges from 1 (lowest image quality and highest compression) to 100 (best quality but least effective compression). If this value is blank, the converter will use the estimated quality of your input image if it can be determined, otherwise 92. The target image format can be JPG, PNG, TIFF, GIF, HEIC, BMP, PS, PSD, WEBP, TGA, DDS, EXR, J2K, PNM or SVG etc.
3. Click "Convert Now!" button to start batch conversion. It will automatically retry another server if one failed, please be patient while converting. |Introduction||The Graphics Interchange Format (better known by its acronym GIF) is a bitmap image format that was introduced by CompuServe in 1987 and has since come into widespread usage on the World Wide Web due to its wide support and portability.||JPEG 2000 (JP2) is an image compression standard and coding system. It was created by the Joint Photographic Experts Group committee in 2000 with the intention of superseding their original discrete cosine transform-based JPEG standard with a newly designed, wavelet-based method.|
|Technical details||GIF supports up to 8 bits per pixel for each image, allowing a single image to reference its own palette of up to 256 different colors chosen from the 24-bit RGB color space. GIF images are compressed using the Lempel-Ziv-Welch (LZW) lossless data compression technique to reduce the file size without degrading the visual quality.||JPEG 2000 code streams are regions of interest that offer several mechanisms to support spatial random access or region of interest access at varying degrees of granularity. It is possible to store different parts of the same picture using different quality.|
